Answers:
What kind of infection are we talking about!? If it is an ingrown nail, you will need an orange stick or something you can lift the nail, then you want to have small cuticle type scissors to cut down into the nail and straight across into the side of the nail so there are no burrs!.!.!. Then just disinfect it real well!. If it is a blister, it is best to leave it alone, but, somtimes if you work, you have to pop it to relieve the pain!. I would use a needle that is sterilized!. If you have a splinter that is festering, I would open it with a sterilized needle and disinfect it after the splinter was removed!. Sometimes just opening it allows it to come out, sometimes, you can push around the edges and it will pop out!. If you have a snake bite kit, you can use the suction thingy to suck out the splinter or glass!.!.!. You can use ice to make it less painful!.!.!. However, most of these are going to hurt anyway and feel better once the infection is allowed to drain!. I find I can tolerate the pain best if I am the one doing it so I know when I can't stand it any more!.

That is a NO NO!.!.!. go and get it done properly either by a nurse or the Doctor!.!.!. You will only re infect it, without the proper tool!. I did this myself many years ago and ended up at the Hospital, and it took three months to get it right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
