Question: I have a REALLY bad earache, what can i do!?
My ear started hurting yesterday morning and it has gotten ALOT worse!. I've tried putting warm water in it but that doesnt really make it feel better!. It feels like there is something inside my ear causing it to hurt, and when i try using a q tip, it doesnt go in all the way!. It hurts really bad when i touch the outside of my ear, or my earlobe and it also hurts to chew food and it also is making my throat burn!. What are some things I can do to make my ear feel better at least temporarily!? ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have suffered from ear infections all my life, not as many in adulthood!. But when i do get them as an adult, they are severe!. Ear infections in adulthood is very severe and significant, and must be treated asap before it gets worse!. You do not know what it is, whether it is an ear infection and swelling, or liquid inside, or a ball of wax inside, or even aninsect!. Go to an urgent care asap to get checked out!. If left untreated, it can lead to hearing loss, so get it seen!. I know u will be fine, just don't stress, and don't try too many home remedies as noone knows what is the source of the problem!. fist off you need to go to the doctor ASAP!. and until then I put a heating pad on my ear when it's hurting!. Also don't sleep on your ear and stay out of the pool!. Watch when you take a shower and don't put anymore water in your ear!.
It sounds as though you either have something in it or you have a bad ear infection!.
But see a doctor as soon as you can!

Try some sweet oil which you can purchase from a drug store or in fact any store!.Warm it up a bit and put a few drops in the ear!.Don't use q-tips anymore,At least for a while!.Try and not sleep on that ear at night!.Try taking some Motrin or extra strength Tylenol for the pain!.To me it sounds like you have a ear infection and need to go see a DR!.Hope you feel better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
