Question: Question about a tetanus shot!?
I sliced open my finger when a glass broke will I was doing the dishes on Monday!. I went to the E!.R!. and had to get a few stitches!. I also had to up date my tetanus shot, it had been about 10 years so I was due!. I know having one can leave some irritation but this is rediculous!. I have a lump that is 3 inches around and almost a half inch thick, I litterally can not lift my arm I mean it hurts all up into my shoulder and neck!. The area is a dark red color and is extremely hot, it also burns like the dickins!. I used one of those surface temp!. strips and it read 105* is this normal, or am I having a reaction to it!? Can someone be allergic to a Tetanus shot!? ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

If it doesn't go down in the next couple days, you should go to the doctor to have it looked at!. Before you go you should read about the side effects of the shot!. Chances are you are having a bad reaction to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i would call your doc or the hospital to me (keep in mind i am not a nurse or professional of anykind) it sounds like an allergic reaction

after 10 years you could have a reaction!. see your own doc!. dont go back to where you were before!. it may be more than a reaction!. maybe you got the wrong shot !!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
umm that sounds like an infection!.!. i would reccomend going to the hospital asap!.!.!. prob not the one you got the shot from either!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
