Question: Health Care Insurance Costs are soo high!!?
My wife is 28 years old, I'm 29 and non of our employers offer health insurance benefits!. We're forced to pay for our own at $300 a month! That's $3,600 a year!.!.!. it's too much for us considering we only visit the doctor once a year!. I'm tempted to discontinue it but then again its tough not to have any health insurance at all!. Check out an HSA--health savings account!. If you're both healthy, it should lower your deductible and allow you to put away money for the future when something will eventually happen and you'll have substantial medical bills!. You may think that current premium money is a lot--it's not compared to what would happen if either of you needed something even as relatively minor as an appendectomy--you'd be on the line for probably 4 or more years worth of premiums easily before it's done!.
