You should go to the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hehe this happened to me before!.!.!. just put a paper towel on it and put a lot of pressure on it!. If its like on your arm, put your arm up above your head for a while!.!. the blood won't flow thru the area as easily, ad it will stop bleedin!. They also invented the thing called a band-aid which works very well :D gl! :) Oh, also you might have very thin blood, which makes it flow a lot and comes out a lot faster in bigger quantities!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like you may have nicked a little vein!.!.!.put pressure on it until it clots, then a gauze pad and tape it tightly!.!.
!.is it in area that gets a lot of action/bumping!? You are probably breaking it open repeatedly!.
is it gushing, or seeping!?
seeping will stop with the pressure and pad eventually if you stop bumping/moving it!.
gushing you need to keep steady pressure on and NOT bump or move!. Let it have a chance to clot and heal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My first thought was it needed stitches but since you say its not deep, I wonder if you might have a bleeding disorder (actually its more a blood clotting disorder where your blood doesnt clot quickly enough causing you to bleed for longer)!. This can be hereditary or a side effect of some medications (ie!. aspirin)!. See a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Does it still bleed after applying pressure and bandage!. Do you take a lot of aspirin!? How old are you!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

out a band aid on it :) feel betterWww@Answer-Health@Com
