Question: I think i was bitten by a venomous spider!?
about 1 day ago i went to a bonfire and i spent a long time just being outside (im in michigan) and then i went inside and there was a spider that was on my blanket!. i have never seen a spider like that before, it was gray and slightly large!. now the base area of my thumb is very swollen and it is tight!. I can also see that i was bitten by something, i just need to know if it was poisonous!. Yesterday my thumb was going numb and now my wrist is, and now it is hot!. So do you know if that could be a poisonous spider that bit me!? Do you know any poisonous spiders in michigan!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it hurts and benedryl doesnt help it, and its going numb, you need to see your doctor!. Whatever bit you will not kill you, no matter if it was a poisonous spider or a really big mosquito but it may need more than benedryl to make it better!. So call the doctor and you will be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your wrist is numb, then yes it could well be a poisenous one!. I dont personally know of any ones in michigan, but go to the doctors as soon as poss! Just to be on the safe side if anything else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you need to go to the Dr!. if your wrist is numb and warm it probably was a poisonous spider!. please go see a Dr before it spreadsWww@Answer-Health@Com
