Could my foot be broken?!

Question: Could my foot be broken!?

I have a large lump on the top of my left foot!. Its kind of soft!. Strange thing is i dont recall hurting my foot in any way!. It only hurts when i sit down, sitting still or after i stand up after sitting for a while!. When im walking or in motion most of the time there is no pain!. But when it does hurt it HURTS!.
Also i notice alot of popping sounds when i twist my foot in various directions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
