How do you treat a minor burn to prevent a scar?!

Question: How do you treat a minor burn to prevent a scar!?
Hi!. This weekend while lighting a cigarette outdoors (I smoke rarely) a piece of my hair flamed up and rested on the end of my nose!. Now on the tip there is a burn!. It blistered up and scabbed over, but I want to do what I can to make sure it doesn't leave a permanent mark!. What cream should I use on it now, and later as the scab comes off!?
I've just been doing neosporin for now!.
Thanks for any halp!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
More than anything you need to keep it moisturized and leave the blister alone and when it scabs over definently leave it alone!. The neosporin you are using will do just fine while it is a blister and as a scab, keeping the area moist is the key to minimizing scarring!. Unfortunately you are probably going to have a nice brighter pink spot on your nose because it is new tissue growth, but it will improve with time!. I do suggest that you also wear a sunscreen on your face when outside, makeup is a good screen and many moisturizers for makeup come with a little SPF, the last think you want to do is sun burn that new skin!.

Another thing you may want to consider is that I know when my Aunt had a surgery her Dr!. told her to rub straight vitamen E oil on the scar, I also did that with a scar on my sons cheek and it helped with the new skin growth and minimal scarring!. You can get that at the local drugstore!. I also know that there is a vitamin you can take called L-Lysine, I believe it is in the B vitamins, anyway I take it when start getting cancer sores!. My Dr!. told me it aids in new tissue growth and repair throughout your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

For minor burns, cleaning the burn is important!.

The burn wound should be thoroughly cleaned with soap and water or mild antibacterial wash such as dilute chlorohexidine!. Routine use of antibiotics should be discouraged!. There is some controversy over management of blisters, but large ones should probably be de-roofed, and dead skin removed with sterile scissors or a hypodermic needle!. Smaller blisters should be left intact!.

If you don't want a prominent scar develop after healing, better use topical cream like Tru-derm Scar cream with SPF10!.!. best for new and old scars, with best results!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

neosporine is the best, or the I think its mederima for scars, and they have like a first aid cream too!. anything to help cuts and burns!. I like neosporine I use it for scratches and cuts and it doesnt leave scars!.
Try the biand aid first aid cream near the baindaids at the drug storeWww@Answer-Health@Com
