If it can be bent where there should be solid bone, it's broken!. There will be substantial bruising at the site of the break, and it'll swell considerably and ache for hours!. Pressure and lateral motion remain painful for about a month!.
Doctors don't usually do anything unless the bone ends are not aligned at all!. Nothing!. No x-rays, no pain meds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may never know for certain!. I have broken seven toes!. One that I thought was only sprained was broken and set wrong so I can't wear dress shoes!. I have to get it rebroken and set properly!. If it interferes with your ability to walk, see a doctor and get it looked at!. They will likely just tape it to the next toe (with cotton between them); but at least you will know what to do for the next one!. With a total of seven, I now wear shoes and solid slippers to protect my feet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
