a dry socket is so very painful and the pain is a referred pain!.!.travels through the face and jaw!.!.!.i had a dry socket!.!.the thing to do is!.!.irrigation ( you need to get salt water and squirt it into the hole and rinse every single thing out of it asap!.!.this hole wont heal until the hole is free of anything foreign as in food, tar nicotine etc!.!.!.rinse this hole every hour and this will ease your pain and it will heal quickly!.!.take pain killers and rest!.!.don't run!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
