DEAR BRE I REALIZE U STATED "BESIDES MEDICATION" HOWEVER THERE IS AT LEAST ONE TYPE OF MEDICATION (AVAILABLE BY RX ONLY) THAT IS AWESOME FOR HEADACHES!!!! IT'S CALLED STADOL, IT COMES IN A LITTLE PUMP TYPE JAR, AND JUST ONE SQUIRT IN ONE NOSTRIL (NO MORE THAN THAT) BECAUSE THIS MEDICATION IS VERY POTENT, ANYWAY USE AS I JUST STATED AND BE CLOSE TO A BED BECAUSE IT HITS IMMEDIATELY AND BOOM ABOUT 10 MINUTES LATER WHEN U WAKE UP YOUR HEADACHE IS HISTORY!!!!!:):) THE OTHER IS IMATREX WHICH YOU MAY OF HEARD OF, IT'S JUST OKAY BUT NOTHING LIKE STADOL!. i usually lay down in a dark room with a cold washcloth on forehead!. when the cold gets to much i apply a hot cloth and usually by that time will fall asleep!. headache gone or bearable when i wake up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Essential oil of lavender helps if it is not a MAJOR headache, like a migraine!. Also try a cold or hot compress and stay in a cool, quiet, dark room!. Sleep tends to ease the pain as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
