I was hurt at work, Workman's comp is paying all my medical bills.?!


Question: I was hurt at work, Workman's comp is paying all my medical bills!.!?
I cracked my kneecap and I have a tear on my meniscus, they will do sugery on the tear when the kneecap is better!. I've been in a leg imoblizer for 8 weeks!. I don't know if I should call a lawyer or not!! From what the Dr said it will be at least 12 more weeks, maybe more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Provided there is no reason to believe you are able to work in some capacity, workers compensation should cover all of your medical bills relevant to your injury!.

Also, one thing you should do if you haven't already is inquire about whether you have short-term or long-term disability coverage at work!. It is remarkable how many people aren't able to work because of injury and don't take advantage of the disability insurance that most employers are required to provide!. This varies depending on where you live but I believe in most cases it pays you your full paycheck for the first month or so you are injured and then some percentage of your pay thereafter!. yep lawyer should be if there going to be on going treatment and the damage kneecap or the tear will need further treatment later years!.or you lose your job!.
ive spent 12yrs on my both knees with 16ops they were in the first 6 years!.!.
ask the doctors everthing ,most time its short and sweet with them, read about it and most of all do the right things in your recovery walk swim etc and rest,get your self ready for your recovery at home,set the house up ready with bedding food movies books,remotes, phone,music!.painkillers!.
