If you have an arm amputated, would you still remember the `feeling`?!

Question: If you have an arm amputated, would you still remember the `feeling`!?
Kinda random, but I was just wondering!.
You have nerves in your arm while it was there, so can you still remember wat it felt like having it!?
Like having the hand!.!.!. can u think of wat if felt like to touch things with it!?
And does it sometimes happen that you forget that you dont have that arm anymore!?

Just curious as to what it feels like to be missing a limb, I guess!.

But this is kinda a confusing question, hopefully someone understands!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Actually yeah, its called phantom limb syndrome!. You can look it up!.

You can actually get pain/ itching where the limb used to be!. And you cant scratch it (obviously) because there is no longer a limb there!. It is quite painful I hear!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Indeed you do get feelings still, its strange really, because you still itch, and feel some sort of pain with an amputation!.because the brain wont accept that you no longer have that limb!.Until it happens, god forbid it never does, but one can not really explain what it truly is like, uuuuh dont think about it, makes me shudder lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
