Im 14 and i've had back pains since i was like 9!. It could be from sloching [bad posture] if you dont sit up stright!.Staying on a computer to long!.Not getting enough sleep!.Dont go to a doctor go to a chopractor!. They'll adjust your back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

could be posture!. if you're on the computer a lot and you slouch or hunch down, that could be the culprit!. your back muscles (along with your abdominal muscles) support most of your upper body weight!. so if their used wrong, they will hurt!.

that leads to the second reason, it could be you're out of shape!. believe it or not, all those hours in front of the playstation can atrophy your "real world" muscles!. some people are so out of shape, they get tired standing up!.

have an x-ray just to rule out skeletal problems like a slipped disc or scoliosis!. you're too young for osteoporosis or the loss of bone density due to insufficient calcium intake!. what it could be though is calcium deficiency!. though this is a long shot, if you've been on a heavy protein diet, your body needs to compensate for all the protein by getting calcium that was meant for your bones and allocating them to your digestion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may have pulled a muscle in your lower back!. I'm a dancer and have done this before- advil helped a lot!!!! A week after my injury it still occasionaly hurt if I arched my back without really stretching out!. Try just reaching for your toes without really reaching- just kinda hang out there- it should stretch you out a bit!. I know you said not to say it- but you should see a doctor!Www@Answer-Health@Com

im 15 and have back problems!. i have been unlucky and have both kyphosis and lordosis!. kyphosis is when ur upper back curves outward, and lordosis is when ur lower back curves in!. sort of like an S dont mistake this for having Scoliosis!. anyway having either of these can cause lower back pains(i have) because ur lower back is weak due to the way it is shaped!. u should go to the docotor and ask them about whether u have a slightly above normal curve on your back and if its noticable enough they will send u too a physical therapist to strengthen those muscles!. good luck and if u do get physical therapy do it as instructed and dont stop doing it until ur good to go!. i stopped and now im too lazy to get back on it and guess what my back has gotten severely worse!. Good Luck dude peace out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could be a pinched nerve where the nerve gets put inbewteen the discs and when you move that way you feel it it is there for ever but it also could be strain on your lower back if you have been uusing it for a whileWww@Answer-Health@Com

me 2!!!.!.!.it can be u just pulled sumthing!.!.thts wut happened 2 me and i missed skool it was tht bad!.!.!.yikes!.!.!.!!! or u bruised it!.!.!.do u have skoliosis!?!.!.!.if not u mite want 2 find out 4 sure!.!.!. it can ruin ur life if u dont find out now!.!.!.like my mom she is in sooo much pain now!.!.!.its sad :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have scolois (curved spine) so i dont no if i can acuretyl answer this but i have growing pains in my legs (fells like their strianed0 so yea thats what it could beWww@Answer-Health@Com

it could be growing pains or if you have had a hard fall even if it has been a few years it can wait to come back and then hurtWww@Answer-Health@Com

Shes probably right!.I had growing pains in my legs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well it could be a whole lot of things so no one here can really tell you what it is!. And it is just plain responsible to tell you to see a doctor, probably an orthopedist would be a smart idea first!. That's a bone doctor who specializes in injuries and defects of any kind related to bones!. Lots of people have herniated discs in their spine and that can cause a pinched nerve!. If you lay down flat on a bed and slowly bring your knees up to your chest, kind of rolling into a ball!.!.hold your knees there with your hands!.!.!.!.!.and it starts to feel better, than that's likely what it could be!. Because doing that exercise actually straightens your spine and takes the pressure off of the discs!. There are other things it could be too!. Do you play sports or have you recently gotten injured in any way!? What kind of mattress are you sleeping on!.!.is it in good condition and even!? Or does it slump in the middle!? Do you stand and sit up straight or slump!? That can put alot of stress on your back!. It doesn't matter that you are 13!.!.!.back problems happen to people of all ages!. Also a chiropractor can do weekly adjustments to aleviate stress but you need to actually be seen by a doctor first to determine the exact cause of your pain!. Hopefully your mom will take it a little more seriously than deciding it's just "growing pains" At least first get a diagnosis!. Best wishes and hope you will find the cause and feel better real soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
