Question: I have had a severe sore throat for 4 weeks!. No drs!. have given me an answer!. HELP!!! Pain 24/7!?
This sore throat has gone on now for 4 weeks!. No I dont have a cold, my nose is clear!. I have been to a urgent care center, my Primary care, the ER and now an ENT (just today)!. Even with a scope down my throat he can see some redness and some swelling, but no answers!. Drew blood, may do a CT scan!. I now have sever pain in my left ear too!. This started last night!. I reall dont feel well and I am so tired of this horrible pain!. Yes, I have gargled with salt water, taken advil and tylenol, used sprays and lozenges and nothing releives this pain!. Anyone have a clue of what I may be suffering from!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since you had a blood draw today, you should be getting some answers as the doctor rules things out!. Your symptoms would be a red flag to any doctor, so after the tests come back, you should know what is going on!. Mono would be my guess but that is just a guess!. were you tested for mono!?!?!.!.did they do a sed rate!? have they ruled out bad things like lymphoma, leukemias and other horrible-omas and -emias!?!?!?try ibuprofen for throat and ear ache it works great !.!.find a provider who will go to bat for you!.!.I am thinking rheumatology if all these really life threatening things have been checked out and are negative!.good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
Did they do a strep culture!? This sounds exactly like a severe strep infection that moved into my lymph nodes about two months ago!. I got a serious dose of uerythromicin[ not sure if this is the correct spelling] from my doc!.!.!.!.got better in three days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
