My shoulder hurts. What should I do?!


Question: My shoulder hurts!. What should I do!?
I have no idea what I did to aggravate my shoulder, but it's angry at me right now!.

My left shoulder hurts and the pain is radiating down to my upper arm!. I also have limited mobility!. I can't even put my left arm behind my back!. I've been trying not to sleep on it or lift anything, but life gets in the way!. It's been three or four days and the pain's just getting worse!. I think leaving the fan on at night isn't helping, either!. I slept with a heating pad last night and that definitely made a difference, but it's still quite sore!.

Any advice!? Ice!? Heat!? Ace bandage!? Give me anything to do and I'll do it!. I miss being able to lift my arm over my head!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have chronic back neck and shoulder pain!! So with this experience I can tell you that shoulder pain can be from the shoulder but don't be fooled because it can "come from" the neck as well and radiate into the shoulder and then down the arm!.!.!.!.ice it, take advils (anti inflamatorys) good luck and feel better!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sound like a pinched nerve!. Take (1) one Aleve for pain and just wait it out!. They are kinks in our system and they work their way out in God's time, not ours!.
Aleve is a great pain reliever but it is stronly recommended that you do not take more than the regular dosage!.

I don't know if you would own either of these!.!. But you know Vicks VapoRub, it is really good for muscle pain!. Also, a warm bath with salt water will relax your muscles!. Anything icy will just make your muscles tense and possibly do more damage!. Warmth is soothing and calming!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

have you tried crepe bandage!? or maybe try light exercise real slow everyday to loosen it up!? don't keep the fan on, i think it makes things worse!.

Ice or heat!. whatever makes it feel better!.
Ibuprofen!.
Stop using it!.
(were you lifting anything heavy!?)
Give it a week!.
It will still hurt if it was strained, but it should be getting better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
