Codeine is converted into morphine in your body!. Taking too much without having some kind of tolerance to it can cause repiratory depression!. Basically otherwise it's going to make you very sleepy!. Using it with alcohol is going to cause you to have more probability of slowing your respiratory rate and is the reason why it can be dangerous!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it all depends on how much you take and in what form!.!.!. codeine is found in cough medicines as well as pain tablets!.
