I'd say you are producing to much stomach acid!.
The pain you are describing sounds like it is around your navel - belly button - that's called referred pain - pain that is coming from somewhere nearby, in this case your stomach!.
If it is gastric reflux it would be hurting your throat too!. The acid could cause lesions in your vocal cords, even go into your airways and lungs while you are asleep!.
