I had two of them and spent more than a week in the hospital!. I had some complications because of the last one!. I still am having problems 20 some years later because of the last one!. I spent over two weeks in the hospital and my recovery took more than 8 weeks!. I think you are going to be surprised about how much pain you are going to be in!. They are going to be cutting through major muscles!. You are going to be in a lot of pain and discomfort!. You are going to have to learn how to pick things up and rework things for a while!. I am so wishing you the best!. I keep you in my prayers daily!!! Truthfully I think the Dr!. is keeping things on the light side!!! Is he planning on doing them all at one go!? Then his timeframe sounds reasonable!. Abdominal surgery is tough- it will take quite some time to get back to your normal activities but it is also possible this timeframe is what is typical for recovery you may take less time or more depending on how your body heals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
