that doesnt sound right!.!.!. call them up, be very polite, go into the office and ask for your records (you will need to sign a paper)!. THIS IS YOUR LEGAL RIGHT!.!.!. THEY HAVE TO GIVE YOU COPIES!.!.!. they can charge say, 1 dollar a page if they are jerks, but you legally can get them!.!.!. otherwise, threaten them with a lawyerWww@Answer-Health@Com

They have that right!. Have your new doctor request the files to avoid a charge!. When you involved a different doctor in the surgery, even though it was to remove staples, the original doctor probably divorced you as a patient to protect himself legally!. The other office could have introduced infection to the incision site while removing staples, and the only way for the original surgeon to protect himself from liability would be to refuse to see you!. Hopefully he doesn't know something about that doctor that you don't!. I don't understand why you wouldn't either accept the nurse or wait for your doc!. After my C-sections nurses took out the staples!. Head or abdomen, it's not a particularly technical operation requiring the skill of a brain surgeon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

in my state it is against the law to refuse any patient without ins,, they have to see you!.!. but a private doctor i dont know,, i would check into it!.!.if he did your surgery is supposed o to your follow up!.!.,,he is responsible to what he did,,Www@Answer-Health@Com

i don't think that is right at all!. especially since they have your files!. you should really do something about this!. that isn't fair or justified!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They can probably choose not to treat you anymore!. Just fill out a medical records release form, and they will transfer all your records to the new doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, he owns a private business, so by law he is free to pick and choose who his customers will be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
