Question: Is it unhealthy to sleep with the radio on!?

Any noise that is not constant can disrupt your sleep patterns and reduce your REM time- commercials on the radio are always louder than the actual music and can contain noises that normally are MEANT to wake you up!. I personally can't sleep in a dead silent room, I run a fan on high- "white noise" is better for your deep, truly restful sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not fully sure and I definitely can't prove anything but I believe it is because of the radiowaves (ironic) in the radio being transferred to your brain that is practically unconsious while you're sleeping!. I also believe cancer can be caused when you fall asleep with a cell phone, video game, or electronic under your head or basically anything with electricity!. So, in result, my answer is yes, I think it is unhealthy to sleep with the radio on depending on how far away it is from your head!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think so!. If you feel refreshed in the morning, you've gotten enough sleep!. And all the stuff about learning while you sleep is bullcrap!. Your brain shuts off all non-essential stuff while sleeping and dreaming!. You can't LEARN from your external surroundings while asleep!. So I assume there's nothing wrong with the radio!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

All this does is mess with your sleep!! It causes you rbrain to not totally rest at night, so your more tired than you would be without it on! Other than sleep depervation, no it's not unhealthy!Www@Answer-Health@Com
