Answers:
you shouldn't worry about it!.!.!.!.!.when I was 13 I went for my physical and the doctor said that I had mild scoliosis too!. He said that many girls that age develop some scoliosis when around the time when puberty hits (he also said that doctors don't know why that happens , so I cant really give u more info on that!) So anyway, you will be probably ok!!.!.!.!.!.Unless the doc said that you need a brace or come regularly for physical rehab than u are okkidokey!. If your worried remember that its just MILD scoliosis!. All that will happen in the future is that you will probably go get x-rays just in case, and you'll go for a checkup in a year
- Besides if your scoliosis was THAT bad than you wouldnt be able to do your sport!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Scoliosis is a disorder that causes an abnormal curve of the spine, or backbone!. Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis is the most common form of scoliosis!.

The most common symptom of scoliosis is an abnormal curve of the spine!. Often this is a mild change and may be first noticed by a friend or family member!. It can also be found on a routine school screening examination for scoliosis!.

Scoliosis may cause the head to appear off center or one hip or shoulder to be higher than the opposite side!. In most cases, scoliosis is not painful!.

If the curve is small when first diagnosed, it can be observed with routine x-rays and measurements!. If the curve stays below 25 degrees, no other treatment is needed!. If the curve is between 25-40 degrees, a brace may be recommended!. If the curve is greater than 40 degrees, then surgery may be recommended to prevent heart or lung problems (shortness of breath, chest pain) or problems carrying a baby!.

At 36 degrees you need that brace until you stabilize!. It may not hurt now, but if it continues to worsen, it will!. In addition, if the curve is gets to be >40 degrees, it is likely to continue to get worse by 1-2 degrees each year for the rest of the your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry, it is very common, it is when the spine isn't exactly straight all the way down-it curves slightly!. If you're really concerned, get your parents to take you to a cranial sacral osteopath for assessment, they'll probably suggest a treatment every 6 months to keep things aligned!. It is a problem when it is a severe scoliosis as it affects internal organs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a check up too when I was ten and had surgery for it!. But it was 22 years ago and it wasn't mild (thought, at that age before I developed, it was not yet visible)!.

i had no hardware put in, but 5 vertebrae fused!.

A mild condition like yours certainly doesn't necessarily mean that you have to have any type of procedure!.!.!.but if you did!.!.!.medicine has come very far!.

good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is not a big deal at all!. I have it too and it has not impacted my health whatsoever!. If they said it was mild, you wouldn't even be able to see it if you could look at your back!. You could try going to a chiropractor if you wanted - I love it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No it is not bad, I have the same thing!. This only means that they r checking up on it to make sure it does not turn into something badWww@Answer-Health@Com
