How can you keep a contusion from turning into a calcified knot?!

Well when my son was younger he and his brother were jumping on the trampoline and his brother accidently elbowed him in the forhead, And the knot never went away, It's not that noticable but 10 years later it's still there! Well the Dr!. said that sometimes contusions get calcified, It's when the contusion forms a hardening bone-like- It's kinda hard yo really explain but I'm sure some people know what I mean, Well he's now concerned that the injury near his eye might do that because it's still real hard after almost a week, What can prevent that from occuring!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
