How did you quit smoking for good??!


Question: How did you quit smoking for good!?!?
I've been smoking on and off since i was 17, i'm 24 now!. And although i don't buy them and don't smoke during most of the week, I smoke like a chimney anytime i step foot in a bar!. GEt a drink in me and I can't control myself!. I want to quit for good, even while drinking, has anyone done this successfully, and how did you do it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The ol' goin to the bar trick, eh!!?!. I quit, cold turkey to be honest with ya!. I quit twice, the first time was for 9 years, then I had a tragic event happen in my life, I lost my 12 year old son, so I thought well, you can drink your sorrows away, get high on cannibis, start takin drugs, or yea, hey; since i quit once, i can have a cigarette, and lay em down whenever i want to, no problem!. 9 years later, I laid em' down!. Done, finished, no urge, in fact i can't stand em'!. Nothin' worse than a reformed smoker, we can be pretty critical at times among smokers!. still to this day, man oh man, a cup of java in the early morning, and fire one up!. ah, the pleasures you get out of that lil cancerous, dangerous, foul smelling, unhealthy plus expensive habit!. Let's look at the advantages of smoking versus the disadvantages of not smoking!. First, its fairly expensive habit, therefore our disposable income goes to marlboro instead of our family vacation!. Second, the smell of them sticks are so pleasant, why not repeal the anti-smoking laws and lets ruin someones meal at the local cafe!. Then, the great health we keep from smoking, not everyone who doesn't smoke cough a part of their lung out!. And then it's the furniture company fault that they don't make a sofa cushion hot ash retardant!. Oh, and how about that high blood pressure, there's no calories in a cigatrette, so heck, my heart problems are gonna be minimal, people who eat high fat foods are the ones, and then theres the romance part, yea, especially in the bar, you got em', smoke em'!. real attractive having a cigarette dangling from your lips!. But quitting is a mind set, until YOU are ready to quit, you wont quit!. Bar or no bar!. The health aspect alone should keep you from smoking, you know the dangers!. try staying away from bars until you quit, I mean not half baked quit, real, real, honest, cross my heart quit!. After you get the dependency factor gone, then the habit goes away, slowly, and then the very smell will make ya wanna slap someone!. It's your call, now go out and quit, cut your alcohol use, you'll win the challenge!. If nothing else, do it for your kids, yourself, your future!.
