Plantar Fasciitis or pinched nerve?!

Question: Plantar Fasciitis or pinched nerve!?
I am not sure if it is which one, I was having some pain in the arch of my right foot, but after i woke up today iam not able to walk, there is NO SWELLING and when i press the arch part of my foot there is pain, if I curl up my big toe I have pain!.
Also I am having a constant pain, it is not unbearable but it is annoying, even when I hang my foot I get pain in the inner arch of my foot!. I am able to put weight on the outside of the foot, and I am able to make the foot go up and dow after ice pack, but when I try to rotate my foot eh pain is severe and I cannot rotate the foot!.
Is there any way to know it is not the nerve connecting from heel to my big toe!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
i dont think its plantar fasciitis-that usually causes pain on the whole plantar foot, not just the arch!. Also, with plantar fasciitis it hurts most in the moring when you first step out of bed, then the pain subsides after you walk around for a while (it tightens when you are not using your foot when you are sleeping, then when you step on it, you stretch it out which hurts a lot!.) It sounds like you may just have a sprain to a ligament in your foot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like PF to me but without a X-ray anybody would be just guessing!.

Call a podiatrist first thing Monday and get in and see one!.

PF is a real drag!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This may be plantar fasciitis!. As a runner, I have had this condition frequently and have never had swelling with it, just pain!.

Your plantar fascia covers almost the entire bottom of your foot http://www!.coretherapy!.com/images/planta!.!.!. and the pain may depend on where it's injured!. If the plantar fascia is injured, the plantar nerve http://www!.myfootshop!.com/images/anatomy!.!.!. can also cause discomfort!.

X-rays don't show plantar fasciitis, but they can rule out other conditions such as stress fractures!.

You may want to treat this injury as if it's plantar fasciitis!. There are exercises http://www!.foot-ankle!.co!.uk/content/trea!.!.!. that may help, and sometimes anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen or naproxen sodium can help also!.

If you've been having this pain for over a month, you may want to see a physician!. If it's been a week or two, you may want to read more at http://www!.mayoclinic!.com/health/plantar!.!.!. and try some of their suggestions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
