I haven't pooped in 5 days?!


Question: I haven't pooped in 5 days!?
This usually happens to me even though I eat a lot of volume!. I run 40 to 50 mpw for track and have a hyperactive thyroid!. I only weigh 113 at 5' 11" but store like 7 pounds of poop!. Why can't I poop regularly!. I get really bloated and feel pregnant!. I don't want to use laxatives or eat any more food!. What can I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is a very serious condition because constipation is TOXIC to your system!. You have a great deal of options to aid in your quandry!. First and foremost, water! Constipation usually occurs from lack of water!. Secondly you most likely are not getting enough insoluable fiber!. Fiber is important because it allows the intestines to move old food through the bowels because it grips and pulls other food!. You are extremely thin and there could be many reasons!.

You are not eating the right foods at all!. You cant be!. To rid yourself of this problem, DO NOT EAT MEATS OF ANY KIND for at least 2 weeks!. WHY!?!?!? because meat is hard to digest and is often never completely digested, and causes all forms of diseases in humans!. Eat only fruits and vegetables!. Take a fiber shake like flaxseed mixed with fruit or vegetables!. This will help heal your intestines, and restore your bowel movements!.

Seriously! Fruits and Vegetables are the simplist to digest and require very very little effort on the part of the human!. Fresh fruits and vegetables also contain bacteria within it that will break down the food for you itself and provide you with all the benefits!. Eat fermented yogurt every 3rd day to help restore the natural flora inside your stomach and intestines!. This will aid in the removal of toxins and rancid food!. First thing in the morning Drink a full 10oz glass of water with the juice of half of a lemon ON AN EMPTY STOMACH!. This, because of the lemon causes it to bypass your stomach and head straight for the intestines cleaning them out!.

I have the same problem with hyperthyroid, I eat a lot of salads and take in lots of water and fruit, all kinds of fruit!. When you are feeling not comfortable bloated feeling you can take a laxative like xlax, taken at nighttime you will get relief the next day, drink lots of fluids!. that will do the trick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok, so i have a reallllly hard time doing a number 2 all the time, for the past like 10 years, i go 1-3 times a week!. i talked to my doctor about this and he said not to worry, that for some people that is enough!. HOWEVER, if this isnt normal for u and its starting to hurt or make u sick then here are some things that id try, and they both worked for me:

for a quick fix: Milk of Magnesium, it doesnt taste that great, but it works im sure ull drop a duece within 1-5 hours

for a daily thing that keeps u regular: Activia! its a yogurt that if u eat one daily it keeps u regular!. and it tastes good too, if u like yogurt!.

Just because you eat a lot, doesn't mean you're eating right!.!.!. especially for your digestion!. I seriously recommend doing a colon cleanse, DrNatura!.com

You may need to visit your Endocrinologist for the thyroid problem or your Gastroenterologist for the intestinal issues!.

look at the foods you ARE eating!.!.!.!.are you getting enough fiber!.!.!.enough water!.!.!.!.constipation is usually the result of poor dietary intake!.!.!.!.!.try having a cup of hot tea daily, hot drinks can often help stimulate the bowels!.!.!.!.there are many herbal teas available, 0 calories and very tasty, there is even a mild laxative tea (senna tea) if you need that much help going!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

consult your doctor, running helps me poop regularly and I drink coffee( it acts as a stimulant) when I can't!. Prunes or high fiber cereal are a good way to stimulate the bowels!. Are you currently taking any medications!? Meds can hinder the pooping process as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If this is normal for you then you dont need to worry!. Peoples toliet habits can range from 3 times a day to once a week!. If you have a look on some health websites you will see this is quite normal!.
However if it is causing you grief then I would suggest seeing a doctor as they may be able to prescribe something to releive bloating etc!. You may have a case of irritable bowel syndrome!. Do you get cramps as well as bloating!? If so it sounds very much like IBS!. There is medication your doctor can prescribe if this is what you have!.

If you would prefer to go with something natural you could book yourself in for a colonic irrigation (this is a procedure conducted by a professional colon doctor who inserts a tube into your anus and a machine removes all waste in your body) This includes waste that sits in peoples bodys for weeks but never comes out in a bowel movement!. If this interests you I would reccommend researching the topic for further info!.

I know you said you didnt want to take a laxitive but you can take a laxitive that works overnight (thereofre you dont get diorreah it actually works to release what is stored in your bowels) This could be an option but I wouldnt recommend this for constant use!.
