i think it depends on the person and not on if he or she is a nurse or doctor!.
i have a nurse practitioner who is AWESOME and WAY better than any of the docs i've been to!. on the other hand, you could end up with the opposite!.
i like it that my nurse can spend the time wiht me i need and not rush me out the door before my questions are answered!.
