Question: Signs of being biten by a bat!!?
What are some signs cuz im not sure if it was a bat that bite me or masquito i live in british columbia i never really sleep with the window open and if it is its only open like 7 inchs is it possible a bat bite my leg while i was sleeping or would i notice it like would it be sore or red cuz i have 2 marks that are like a inch apart 1 has a pretty big mark on it and the other 1 has a little i think it was a masquito bite that i just scratched so it kida opend em a bitWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have had bats in my house and believe me if there was one in your room, it would still be there hanging from the ceiling!. They are just not bright enough to get out by them selves!. You have to catch them by hand and put them out!. I have also been bitten by a bat (while catching it and putting it out) and it left no mark at all! They can't really bite hard enough to break the skin! Also, if one did get in your house they tend to stay as far from people as they can get, so biting you would be the last thing it wanted to do!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
we have fruit bats in our atic, theyre little and ugly and dont bite!.!.!.!.well not usually anthing but insects!.!.!.!.with that said even with them being as small as they are!.!.!.i would know if i was biten cuz theyre fangs are huge!. YUK!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most likely it was a bug!.
However, rabies can be contracted from bats and once you feel symptoms of rabies, it is 100% fatal and rabies symptoms can occur anywhere from a month or so after the bite or it could be several years!.
You NEED to go to the doctor, I cannot stress this enough, they will not be able to tell you whether you have rabies, but they will give you a series of vaccines which will prevent rabies symptoms from showing up and kill whatever is in you system, it will also prevent rabies in the future, so you really don't need to worry if you get bit in the future!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
