Answers:
ivs don't hurt!.!.it stings for about a second and then it will be fine!. One thing that helps me is to DON'T watch when they do it!. when you wake up I would say your pain will probably be under a 5!. Don't worry, you'll be fine! And you'll have an excuse to sit in bed and have ice cream and watch movies all day :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, I had this operation 3 years ago when I was 13 and it was more or less fine!.
I wasn't put to sleep and the only painfull bit was the anaesthetic needles at the start but after that it was fine, and even when the anaesthetic wore off it was fine!.

Without the anaesthetic needles id give it a pain rating of 1 or 2!.
But yea like I said the needles are quite painful but that only lasts a few seconds!.
And it sounds like your being put to sleep for yours which is even better!

Dont worry about it, hope it all goes well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

An 'IV'-needle is a skin-prick + a vessel-prick!. Nothing terrible, really!. It's necessary for a reason your doctor knows!. If you've been out in the sun a lot, your skin will be a bit tougher to 'prick'!. If you'll be 'asleep', you'll never know any pain!. When you awaken, you will not feel it as long as you don't over-move the part with the 'IV'!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are being put under for an ingrown toenail!?! This is a pretty painless procedure!. IVs are completely painless, when you wake up they will probably allow you to pull it out yourself!. On a scale of 1-10 I would give this a 2!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
