How do i walk with my walking cast?!
Question: How do i walk with my walking cast!?
i have a walking cast but its no the typical big black boot its a green rubber wedge attachched to my heal and i have no idea how to walk with it!. any helP!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that the idea behind those walking casts is to use crutches and be kind of hopping along with the heel resting on the ground - That's how I used mine!.
Most of the time, the doctor will tell you to not use it as a walking cast a tfirst and then after a check-up will check if the leg is okay to be weight bearing!. if it is then they will tell you!.
If in any doubt, speak to your doctor!.

I have never had a walking cast, always been on crutches!. From what I have seen is to walk heel to toe, and avoid the urge to twist your leg when it is behind!. That could put pressure on the fracture or cause mis-alignment!. We girls are lucky in that we can wear a heel on the good foot to make up for the added length!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
