Question: Any Smokers had tummy tuck!?
I really really want to have this done, but the Dr!. told me on a consult that he really would want me to quit smoking 1st (pack/day) , as it affects the healing process!. I know if I do that, I'm gonna gain weight, which I've worked so hard to loose!. Anyone had this done that smokes!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had to quit for my tummy tuck!. It was for the anestisia (sp) and also the healing process!. I quit for 1 month prior to surgery, and was laid up in bed for so long - i couldnt get down the stairs for about a week or two to smoke!.
If you DO gain any weight in that one month!.!.!. i'll get you'll lose most of it in that time you're laid up in bed!. i lost a GOOD amount of weight while i was laid up!.
By the time i was ready to venture out into social situations, i was pretty decently healed and started smoking again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just quit smoking!. If looks are important enough to you for surgery, then quit smoking, because it will make your face look like a rhino's azz!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
