Question: Medical disaster please help me!!?
I'm here hoping to seek out some answers!. My husband got very sick last thursday and had to be admitted into the hospital, and of course he doesn't have insurance!. I nagged and nagged for him to get it from work, but he didn't!. So here we are sitting about 5-6 grand in debt for those two days with tests, lab, CT scans, and ultrasounds!. Not to mention the visit yesterday for more tests, and wed for the check up!. He went in yesterday and found out he has to have his gullbladder taken out!. So we can add about another 10-15 grand onto that!. He's missed work on top of this all, and my 9!.50 hour job isn't going to cut it!. Is there any help out there for us!? We have two kids!. Ones 7, and ones only 6 months!. I'm pretty desperate here!. I know we can pay the doc 25$ at a time, but he's missed out on work, and will be missing more work!. I just need to know if theres any help for us!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try going directly to the hospital admin!. and ask about debt forgiveness, explain your situation!. Most hospitals have money set aside for bad debts or charitable cases!. My mother-in law could not afford a hysterectomy -so she showed proof of her income and they forgave her debt at the hospital!. Also try sources at the Salvation Army, United Way, churches, Health and Human Services!. I do not have insurance either!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you need to get the gallbladder out!. it may take years to pay it off, but you will be able to do it! what my dad does is he goes out for work, but he also works at home (i think), but it seems to work out!. try to get insurance for the next thing that happens, but i don't know how insurance works, but i do know it's REALLY important!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

who said gallbladder surgery is 10-15 grand!. It is a very simply surgery now and probably less then 10 grand!. you can make payment plans with the hospital too!.
Gallbladder surgery can be done laporscopically and is usually day surgery!. I was home by in 7 hours and was back to work in a week I know some that have been back in 3 days!.

You need to contact the Red Cross, your WIC office and also state welfare!. I don't know if they can help you with anything, but they are definately places to start!. They can at least help in the right direction!.
If you have a church, go to them too!. Don't be shy!. You need help, so please go out there and find it!. Start going through your bills and see what you can change!. Do you pay for television, have fancy cell phones, drive fancy cars!?!? Cut back on material things for a bit!. Just take it one day at a time, pay what you can!. Prioritize your bills and if people call you, tell them the situation!.
