I am getting sharp sudden pains in my head...?!


Question: I am getting sharp sudden pains in my head!.!.!.!?
I do get migraines!. However, this pain is different!. I get sharp sudden pains in the right side of my head!. It's always the same spot!. So far its happening once a week!. The pain hits and lasts maybe a couple minutes to an hour!. Then I am nauseated, dizzy, and extremely tired!.

Even the next day I am worn out!. I am going for an MRI Thursday!.

Any ideas what I could expect!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be arteritis which is an inflammation of the inner or outer coat of the arterities What you could have sounds like temporal arteritis!.You definitely need to be checked This could be alone as a symptom or related to some other condition!.Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hard to say really - are you a frequent cellphone user!? There's a ton of evidence available suggesting that the non-ionizing radiation even from these devices can cause tumors!.

For the optimist view:

Sharp pains in the right side of the head are frequent indicators of an ear canal infection!.

For the slapstick humorists:

Have you thought of asking your hubby to stop smacking you with that frypan!?


Seriously, I hope you don't dwell on it all day!. It's very likely something to do with your ear!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it continues that sharply for more than a few minutes, head to the emergency room! That requires definite examination and possible treatment hon!. I have migraines too and was told that if you feel severe pain that is unlike your regular migraine pain to go to the er (by my neurologist)!. I hope that it turns out to be nothing more than migraine!.!.!.Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
