What happens if you get a tan with a bad bruise on your leg?!

Question: What happens if you get a tan with a bad bruise on your leg!?
Should you cover it up!? Will it peel or tan awkwardly!? I have a friend that wants to go to the beach tomorrow but fell and bruised her thigh yesterday and ended up with about a 5 by 5 inch purple bruise on her upper thigh!. Any good advice or related experience is greatly appreciated!.

Also: Is it possible to have a permanent tan line!? Could that happen!? (Not just in this scenario but in general)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will be fine, it's just the blood vessels under her skin that are broken!. If her skin is still intact it should tan alright!.

You could have a permanent tan line if you cover up the same spots over and over!. However, your whole body tans the same way!.The parts that are always covered up could burn at first since they are not used to the sun!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Repeated tanning can leave a permenant tan line, it will be subtle in the winter month's but still visible, the bruise will go away and the tan should cover it, even though it won't be evident at first, it will be discolored but will blend in when it heals!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

skip the tan -it's just an added cancer risk!. if the bruising continues, try icing the wound!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
