Question: Ingrown toenail, help!?!?!?
okay, after having ingrown toenails for about 2 years, cutting (relief) growing back (pain) ive decided to want to go to the dr to get it removed, BUT i have a few questions
- how bad it the pain!?!? during and after
- how long for recovery!?!?

Okay!. I had both my big to nails halfed!. That meant a podietrist after a shot to depain the toe dug a hole into my toe and cut off half the toe nail!. I was in pain 2 weeks, off work, no painkillers!. no insurance!. debt but now I have half a nail, no ingrown nails and full mobility!. Do not do it unless you have tried everything you can to get it to stop ingrowing including wearing different shoes, cutting it flat across the top not into the nail bed and research it online at http://www!.medterms!.com/script/main/hp!.a!.!.!. okayWww@Answer-Health@Com
as long as they numb the toe while they are cutting your toe nail the worse you will feel is a little pinch!.!. even after wards its nothing a little Tylenol or Advil cant help!.!.for mine it took about 2 weeks for fully heal but you can walk on it no problem!.!.as for the cost i dont really know, your gonna have to ask your doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com
