Neck pain from sitting at computer....?!

Question: Neck pain from sitting at computer!.!.!.!.!?
I have a soft lump on the right side of my neck, where I can feel my pulse!. It's been there for months and I have seen a doctor (who did a thyroid test -negative)!. I'm thinking it might be a bulging muscle from improper posture as I sit for many hours in front of a computer screen!?

Does anyone else have this!? It's exactly where you can feel your pulse the strongest in your neck!.

I just want to know what this is, as I can feel it all the time!.

Thanks for your input!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To reduce the incidence of this happening again do these things!. Get a chair that is on wheels, swivels, is adjustable, is high backed, and has a lumbar support!. Sit with your feet flat on the floor and all the way back in the chair!. The knees should be slightly higher than the hips!. Your arms should hang easily from the shoulders and not be stretched out to reach the keyboard!. The monitor should be at eye level!. Every fifteen to thirty minutes take a short break by rolling your head around slowly from side to side!. Practice sitting up straight in the chair and when standing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh it happenes to me a lot ecause you sit for too long and your bending your back spine too much, it happened to me when i was on the computer for like 2 hours and just walk around move your neck more and all that!. It goes away fast!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it's from sitting in front of your computer because my brother and I do it all the time!. The only time we stop is to take a shower, use the bathroom or get some food and we don't have them :/Www@Answer-Health@Com
