What type of a head injury would be instantly fatal?!
Question: What type of a head injury would be instantly fatal!?
A friend of mine just passed away 10 days ago in a car accident!. He was thrown from his truck and went head first into the side of a brick water-well!. I honestly don't know if he died from a head injury or if his neck was broken!. He was pronounced dead at the scene, but I guess I'm just hoping that he didn't suffer and that his death was instant!. I'm not even sure I phrased this question right!. Just looking for some reassurance and closure I suppose!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

He probably got a concussion!. His brain swelled greatly in the little time that he had left!. Internal bleeding set in and he passed away!.
Usually doctors take part of his skull away so when the brain expands, it has room and it doesn't cause permanent brain damage!.
He could have suffered, but there is no way to tell without a further explanation from you guys!.
If his neck broke, it was fast, and the immediate impact caused him to die!. Other wise he could have suffered, very little though!. Don't worry, he is in a better place now

I'm sorry about your friend!. My daughter was thrown from a car when it rolled!. She was found down the highway unconscious in a ditch!. She had severe skull fractures, a broken neck in 2 places, broken pelvis in 2 places, and internal injuries!. She does not remember the accident or several days after!. I'm sure your friend didn't suffer at all!. He must have had massive head injuries, and probably died instantly!.

it was probably his head,i don't know the speed he was driving at but being ejected from your truck and hitting a wall!.!.!. I would say it was quick,he probably wasn't suffering!.Even if it was his neck

simple!.!.!. he broke his neck and that killed him i am sorry for u and him i lost a whole family to that kind of stuff like 5 members aunt uncle cousins!. may he rest in peaceWww@Answer-Health@Com
