How many hours of sleep am I supposed toget?!


Question: How many hours of sleep am I supposed toget!?
I was a high school freshman last year and I generally got 6 hours of sleep per night!. Is that bad!? But I had so much homework and tests that it was impossible for me to get good grades if I didn't stay up late!.

Now that I'm going to be a sophmore in the fall of '08, I figured that I would even get more homework, so I am thinking maybe I would only get 5 hours of sleep per night!.

Again is that bad!? Is bad for my health!? I feel mentally fine, but is it still bad for my health!?

Oh, and last year, I had to drink coffee every night to keep me awake!. Is there something else I can do besides drinking coffee!? Something much healthier!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should get at least 8 hours of sleep per day! but being so young, your body can take it for a long time!. however, it will catch up to you! coffee and caffeine is NOT your friend! you can ignore it now, and pay for it later, or deal with it and spare yourself health/beauty problems later!. the site listed below can help you get back on track!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

6-5!.!.!. oh my gosh! For a growing teenager, you need at LEAST 8 hours of sleep! You should work out a schedule so you can go to bed earlier!. And drinking coffee is fine, but its bad to do it right before you go to bed, b/c it makes it harder for you body to go into the "sleep" mode to fall alseep!. I would defiantly try to fix this before school starts again!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Typically, 8 hours is best, though to be honest, its up to you!. If you are completely rested with 6!.!. then 6 it is!. If you feel you need 10!.!.!. then go for 10!. Only you know what works best for you!.

Just about everything is better to keep you awake than coffee!.!.!. get some vitamins, exercise regularly, get a good night's sleep :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

not getting much sleep is bad for your health!. im not sure exactly how much u need tho!. try drinking drings that have a lot of NATURAL sugar!. not that fructose and glutose junk!. (i personally like coffee but thats cuz i like the taste (: ) Good Luck to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cut the coffee out of your diet!.!.!.!.You may need to cut back on an activity so that you can get more sleep!.!.!.!.!.7 hours per night at the minimum!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
