I swallowed a suction tongue ring. What Should I do?!
Question: I swallowed a suction tongue ring!. What Should I do!?
It is about the size of an eraser end of a pencil!. I was just lying down and trying to get it stuck on and then it fell down my throat and I tried not letting it go down but i had to!. So what should I do!? It kinda feels like it is stuck in my throat, but I swallowed it last night and it still feels like it!. It doesnt hurt or anything, and when i eat and breathe it is fine, but when i swallow it feels like something is there!. What should i do!? Please leave answers, I am kinda freaked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll be fine!. Trying to cough it up probably strained you esophagus, or it could have scratched it a bit!. I would just try drinking a lot of liquids, maybe eat some soup or ice cream!. I doubt it's still stuck, but eating and drinking will loosen it if it is!. There's not much that can really happen!. Actually swallowing it can't harm you, you'll pass it eventually!. And you didn't choke!. It's not really that big, it's probably in your stomach!. Maybe you can have someone try to look in your throat and see if it looks irritated!. Or if it gets worse or doesn't go away go to a doctor or E!.R!. and have them check it!. Just calm down and try to think about something else, I'm sure you'll be just fine!. It is probably a slight irritation caused by swallowing something large (Like a slight bruising of your oesophagus)!. If you can eat without a problem it has almost certainly passed into you stomach!. Just keep an eye on your number twos for a few days!. If you don't pass it or you have any abdominal discomfort go to the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
