What causes motion sickness and why do I get it so easily?!

Question: What causes motion sickness and why do I get it so easily!?
It seems not only can i get sick in cars and boats but I'll also receive the same car sick feeling from eating too much sugar, having to much caffeine, drinking alcohol or even smoking more than one cigarette!. Sometimes it's so bad that I have to go lay down for a few hours and then vomit!. Does it possibly have to do with vasoconstriction!? I do not believe I'm diabetic and I'm not overweight!. I'm 5'3 and weigh 115 pounds!. What could be causing this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It's unlikely that this is vasoconstriction, but if you're concerned about that, you should visit your GP!. Motion sickness is caused by your balance and signals in the brain getting confused by the idea that in the car/boat/etc, you are essentially sitting still, but really you are moving along at a bumpy high speed!. So your body can't "catch up" and gets confused and imbalanced!. Alcohol, sugar, caffeine, cigarettes, are all things which can upset the balance of your stomach and digestion, and nervous system, so that's why it might feel similar to the motion sickness!. If it's so bad you have to lie down and vomit, you should avoid all of those things and see a doctor ASAP!. You're probably just be a bit rundown at the moment, but it could be anything from IBS to stomach migraines too!. So go and see your doctor soon!. Hope that helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
