Doubled over here with pain.....HELP?!
Question: Doubled over here with pain!.!.!.!.!.HELP!?
WAS at hospital yesterday, they did a CT Scan, and it showed a large hernia in my stomach and ovarian cyst's on my right side, I can't believe they just sent me home with 12 percocet and that was that!. My family doc is over an hour away, which they also knew, I don't drive, so it takes planning to get into the city to see my family doc!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Anyone have any suggestions!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I would surely appriciate if there was a medical proffessional on this site to answer my question, but I would also appriciate anyone's input!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Thanking you all in advance,,,,,TriciaWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ouch! Ovarian cysts can hurt like h*ll, so sweetie I feel for you!. From personal experience in the not so distant past, I have been there with my right side!. The typical treatment is medication and rest!. However, if it continues and the pain is so severe that you cannot bear it, go back to the emergency room because they need to do an ultrasound and help control your pain through IV meds!. I'm sure the hospital wouldnt send you home unless they knew it was okay, perhaps try ringing your doctor or he hospital for more advice, if you are doubled oer in pain and the percocet its helping in any way, they didn't judge the serverity or the situation, I'm not doctor, but I would certainly ring either the hospital or your doctor!.
If it is urgent and you need a doctor straight away (not urgent enought for am ambulance) I'm suire a family member or friend would be willing to take you up there!.

Is there another hospital nearby!? Or just go back and hope you don't get the same doctor!. It sounds like it is something that really needs to be taken care of, it's not like you're shopping for meds, you have a serious condition that need to be taken care of!. They should of had you scheduled for surgery!. I suggest you cal your doctor and have them schedule surgery to correct this!. Left alone can cause more damage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
