Finger splint?!
Question: Finger splint!?
i have my pinky in a splint right now because i think i fractured it or there is torn cartilage or something!. i have had it on since 1:00 this afternoon and i took it off an hour ago to bend it because it was bothering me!. it hurt to bend it at all now, which it didnt use to!. what the hell is going on!? is this just because it has been immobilized or do i need to go to the dr!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's likely painful because it got stiff from the spint!.!.
i think taping the two fingers together is a good idea like the other poster said because a splint is often too big for the pinky and can just get in the way!.
Make sure to ice it and keep it elevated when you can to assist with any swelling!.!.!. same things a doctor would say!.!.!.
Ibuprofen will help the pain !.!. take that with food!.!.!. stuff is hard on your stomach!.!.!.
if after a few days you still have severe pain in it, you should go to the doctor to make sure it isnt fractured!.!.

A doctor will only splint the finger for a fracture/brake, tell u to take Ibuprofen for pain, ice it for swelling, elevate it , maybe buddy tape it !. !. taping two fingers together !.!.!.you can try this first but if swelling/pain persists after 4 or 5 days, see the doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
