Help! Gross insect bites!?!

Question: Help! Gross insect bites!!?
Okay, three or four days ago I spent the evening outside, and mosquito's LOVE my blood!. The next day I noticed I had two bug bites on my legs!. They were swollen more than usual but they were very itchy (like usual)!. So, today I noticed!.!. besides the itchiness and small amount of discomfort around the bite-site!.!. they are red!. They look very similar to a "port-wine" birthmark!.
Since I've had MANY bugbites throughout the years, what set these apart from the rest was the intense red color, they dont fade out either, they are like!.!. a giant splotch!. It's about the size of a quarter!. My boyfriend got some too from that night, but his are half the size of mine!.
:-(
I can provide a picture if needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My son reacts similiarly to mosquito bites!. You cannot scratch them when they are fresh, you have an allergy to mosquitos!. here is what we do, and it prevents the large Port wine look!.

1!. wash the bug bit and area with liquid soap!. (dish soap works great)

2!. take benadryl cream and dab on the bite!.

3!. do not scratch at all!. The scratching spreads the mosquito venom around creating a whelp!.

You can also put clorox bleach on a cotton ball and dab on the bite!.

If the bite area around is red and very very hot!.!.!.!.has to be a pretty large area, like maybe 3-4 inches square, you have an infection and need to see a doctor!. Prevent this by putting a little neosporin on the bite after you remove the itch!.

hope this helps!. My son has TERRIBLE allergies to mosquitos and we have had an infection!. You dont have that from your description of the bites!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to your nearest A&E ( hospital casualty ) unit, thats not the norm when bitten by a common or garden insect mate - there shouldn't be a 'spread'!!! Take an antihistamine such as Piriton ( ask your dr if its ok for you to take it first! ) then pop along to the hospital, best of luck mate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may have developed an allergic reaction to the bites!.You may want to see a Dr!. to make sure it's not a spider-bite,etc!.
I just know how you feel, when we go outside nobody but me gets bitten!. That really sucks!

You have my fullest Sympathy!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
