Answers:
Putting it under cold water as soon as possible was the best thing you could have done, as this will prevent most of the blistering!. To reduce the pain, you need to get some ice and place it in a freezer bag or something similar!. Put some water in the bag as well and tie the bag up!. You can carry this around the house with you or sit and watch tv with this gently sitting on your finger!. Take some pandadol or some iburprofen to reduce the pain!. There isnt much else you can do for the immediate pain!. As soon as you feel the pain begin to subside, clean the wound with some soap and water (gently of course) and place a sterile dressing on it such as a bandaid to prevent dirt getting into the wound!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

cold water with ice will be soothing!.

Putting A&D ointment on it will do as much healing as anything !. (if you don't have it at home, you can usually find it in the baby care section of the grocery store or drug store)

I don't know if it will do any good 12 hours later!.

if it is too late for the A&D, Cortisone cream from the drug store will be comforting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I burnt my hands on a marshmallow roasting stick a few days ago and it was stinging like heck! What i did was take some ice and wrapped it in a paper towel!. Then i kept it on there for a long time!. It eventually stopped stinging then turned into a blister!. Your burn will most likely turn into a blister too, but don't worry it will go away!. If it doesn't make a slight hole in it for the puss to come out!. Hope this helps!
p!.s!. if it hurts to bad take an Advil or some other pain reliever!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The pain isn't going to go away!. All of those things help the pain, but aloe vera is the one that will help it heal faster!. Take a leaf, open it up, put it on the burn(s), and just try not to think about it!. The pain from a burn like that really doesn't last long!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To be honest, when my hand was burnt, best thing is a product from the Chemis called JELNET (I think) it is mesh net style item with a jelly stuf, it does not adhear to the burn and sooths!.!.!.!.then bandage the area, change dressing every day or 2 until it heals!.!.!.!.but you would have to get to the Chemist!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cold water is not good for burns!. IF you get a very bad burn you should never put cold water on it!. IT causes it to swell and blister even more!.
