Outboard Motor's are pretty tough, just gas and lube it with oil, prime it with the suction bulb, choke it good then pull the starter rope without letting go, when it fires, let it run loose after the warm-up period!.!. It should be just fine without a Bandaid or the Neosporin!. The Neosporin fouls the sparkplugs too much and the Bandaid's restrict the much needed airflow impeding suction at the carburator and the length of time it will run toward the destination of choice!.
Maybe use a little compressed air to fill yourself up!. The connection is behind your ear in case it has been awhile since your last fillup!. BTW Is the GTO OK!. LOL
