Answers:
i would say yes, talk to a lawyer, true you had to have the surgery!.!.!.but what caused the infection!? could it have been a defect in the tube, maybe too small or something!.!.!.or was it contaminated, or was it after the surgery, the care given!. There are always two sides to every story, and most of the time there are three sides!. It would not hurt anything to get a Free consultation by a lawyer, he will decide if he's interested or not, if it was some mistake by the hospital or doctor, then!.!.!.you will be doing everyone a service by informing the public via law suit!. If it was just a reaction of the glaucoma, and the lawyer is not interested, at least you know, and won't go through life second guessing yourself!. Good Luck to You!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am sorry to hear that you have had so many problems but I doubt very much you would have a case against the doctor
for malpractice!. As long as he has performed his duties
with a standard of care that is acceptable even if the
results are not what you would wish it is not actionable!. You would have to prove the doctor was grossly negligent in his care of you and from what you say I doubt that you could do that!. You had a serious disease for which there is not really a cure and he probably has done the best he could under the circumstances!. I note that you refer to 'other problems'!. It sounds like you have a very complicated medical history and again that would weigh against you in any action that
you might consider against the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No I do not think the Doctor is at fault!. You had Glaucoma, so the choice was to leave well alone and go blind, or undergo surgery!. Every Surgery carries a risk, some people go in and never come out!. Likewise after most surgeries you are left with pain, for many years after the procedure!. I have a old scar and every winter is starts throbbing and itching!. Best of LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Before you go farther, did you sign any documents before you had the surgery, and was one of them a "release" form!?

If you did, don't bother going to a lawyer!. But, you do have the right to see another doctor to give you another examination!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Only another eye doctor can determine that, and far as a law suit depends what papers you signed be for surgery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
