I just got stitches today?!

Question: I just got stitches today!?
I just got stitches today because my friend's dog bit me as i was walking into his house!. The stitches are on my leg and it feels like they are gonna pop off when I walk, it just feels real tight!. Is it gonna pop out if i walk too much!? Because I heard it did to some people when they walked on it too much!. What is the percent that it won't pop out!. And i'm just wondering, in 10 days when they take out the stitches will it hurt when they pull them out!? What does it feel like!? Thanks a lot guys!

Answers:
They feel tight because you just got them in!. They will not
pop out because they are knotted there!. I have never
heard of stitches popping because people walked too much!. Believe me I had a very exciting childhood and I have the scars from stitches to prove it starting at my toes all the way up to my head!. My stitches never popped!. Tomorrow they
will feel looser to you and as the days go by they won't feel tight at all!. Just keep them clean!. When they take the stitches out they just snip the thread with a pair of scissors and then give them a little pull!. They pop right out and you don't feel anything!. They don't need to give you a painkiller because there is no pain!. The last time I had stitches I didn't bother
going back to the doctor I just did it myself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They probably won't pop!. The area of the wound on your leg is swelling and sensitive!. The swelling puts pressure on the stitches and the sensitivity makes you more aware of it!. Actually, you should take it easy the rest of the day and keep the leg up!. This will reduce the swelling, and the pressure on the stitches!. And getting them removed doesn't hurt at all!. It's not a pain, it's merely a sensation!. I have taken them out myself to save money on another Doctor visit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
