Cartilage piercing- is it infected?!
Question: Cartilage piercing- is it infected!?
I got my cartilage pierced with a needle a little over two weeks ago!.
It's been fine up until today!.
Now all of a sudden it's really swollen, like so much i can't even get a q-tip around the ring to clean it!. A little puss is coming out too, and it hurts worse than it has since i got it done!. I will admit i probably haven't been cleaning it as much as I should be, which is my fault!. I've cleaned it once or twice a day with the stuff they gave me at the piercing place, but it says you're supposed to use it three to six times a day!. Anyway, does it sound like it could be infected!? And if it is what do i do for it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go get Bactine from the drug store!. It's amazing on piercings! Its the best thing to use with new piercings!. It also heals infected ones quickly!. If you take it out you won't be able to get it back in!. Only do that if it get really bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Ya thats infected!. Dont worry to much just pop it like a zip and get that puss out!. having that in your ear will cause i bigger infection!. just keep getting puss out and cleaning it and it will be gone in 3 daysWww@Answer-Health@Com

Take it out and clean the area, apply NEOSPORIN
If it gets worse, GO TO DOCTOR!.
