Weird pain in foot by toes?!

Question: Weird pain in foot by toes!?
I'm not one of those people who go to the doctor for "weird pains", but I am confused!. Since mid-May (about a month and a half ago), I started feeling a pain between the two middle metatarsal and phalangeal joints of my left foot!. I've done an interent search before posting this question, and I found no known anomalies!. Has anyone experienced anything like this before!? It's a deep bone pain, nothing superficial!. There is no bruising, nor can I recal any incident that may have caused it!. A month and a half later, the pain is throbbing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Although I've never heard of bone spurs in that particular area, what you're describing sounds very similar to a bone spur!. It's also possible there's a hairline fracture of the bone that could have come from stubbing your foot, stepping the wrong way, anything really!.

Since you're saying it feels more like deep bone pain, I'd go to the doctor and get an x-ray!. The only thing is, if it's a fracture the only thing they'll likely do is tape up the toes since they don't usually put a cast on for broken toes! :) They can tell if it's a bone spur also!. Depending on the location and how much it's bothering you, they can surgically remove a bone spur!.

In the meantime, keep your foot elevated and I hope you feel better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com
