Loss of libido from Morphine?!
Question: Loss of libido from Morphine!?
Need I say more!? I've been on Morphine on and off for a couple months now (and last year too) and this round I'm experiencing a MAJOR loss of libido!.!.!.!.I need to know why this is!. Please, don't say it's an emotional issue because it is not!. Only serious answers need reply!. Thanks in advance!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Absolutely!. I was on Methadone as prescribed for pain and never looked at a woman!. Turned a few down because I knew I could not perform and they probably thought I was gay!. ONe actually asked me!.
One of the reasons I weaned off it!. SO I guess it can do this to a girl!. Opiates when taken long term create havoc everywhere!. At least woman can pretend, a man has to function!. You got that going for you!.
Eating right, proteins, vitamins and etc ;trust me it will all come back!. The drugs are destroying healthy cell production, the basis of your entire existence!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's common for any type of opiate to cause this!. The effect seems to continue to compound!. So even if you stop using it for a while, your libido may come back, but maybe not as strong, and will disappear faster once you use it again!. This on again, off again use of opiates for pain management will eventually cause you to completely loss your libido, and will eventually have other serious consequences!. I would try to find alternative pain management therapies!. I got off the Oxycontin with the help of acupuncture!. I thought it was a bunch of bull, until I finally tried it!. You might have to use several different techniques, but what the heck, if it can get you off the meds, and get some pain free joy in life, then it's worth it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
